Beijing, May 14 /Xinhua/ — On Thursday morning in Beijing, Chairman of the NPC Xi Jinping will hold talks with US President Donald Trump, who is on a state visit to China.
Before the start of the negotiations, Xi Jinping will conduct a welcoming ceremony for D. Trump on the square in front of the East Gate of the Great Hall of the People.
D. Trump will make a state visit to China from May 13 to 15. This is the first visit of a U.S. president to China in the last nine years and the second visit of D. Trump since November 2017.
According to the message from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC, the heads of the two states will hold an in-depth exchange of views on key issues concerning bilateral relations, peace, and development worldwide. -0-
