Bishkek, May 13 /Xin Hua/ — In January-April of this year, the volume of dairy product exports from Kyrgyzstan amounted to 11,799 tons, which is 1,688.2 tons more compared to the same period in 2025 /an increase of about 16.7%/. This was reported on Wednesday by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the country.
As reported, the main influence on the increase in exports was the growth in demand for certain types of dairy products. In particular, the export of fermented milk products /kurut, kumis, and others/ grew from 3.6 to 116.5 tons; the export of dairy whey reached 164 tons, of which fat-free goat milk accounted for 17.6 tons, dairy cocktail — 2.2 tons, cream — 1.6 tons.
Overall, there is a positive trend in exports in the dairy industry of Kyrgyzstan. Expanding the export range and introducing new types of products to foreign markets contribute to the development of the industry, the agency added.
