Beijing, May 12 /Xin Hua/ — On Monday, a press tour by Chinese and Mongolian media was launched in the border town of Erenhot in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region /Northern China/, covering the city of Beijing and Inner Mongolia, daily newspaper “Neimenggu Ribao” reported on Tuesday.

The press tour, which will last until May 16, is jointly organized by the Press Office of the People’s Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Press Office of the People’s Government of Beijing, and the Office for International Relations of the People’s Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with the support of the All-China Journalists Association, the Embassy of China in Mongolia, and the Mongolia Journalists’ Union. More than 40 representatives of media from two countries are participating in it.

During the press tour, its participants visit the robot demonstration center, the innovation zone for artificial intelligence development, the intellectual production center, research and development in the field of new energy, a pilot free trade zone, an international logistics park, a computational power base with zero carbon emissions, a modern agro-industrial park and enterprises engaged in cross-border trade.

Participants of the press tour will conduct reports dedicated to topics such as the construction of free trade zones, ecology of industry and artificial intelligence, intellectual production, urban management, agriculture, and green energy.

It is reported that the press tour for Chinese and Mongolian media, which has been held for many years, has already become an important branded event that plays a positive role in strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the media of the two countries and promotes the rapprochement of the peoples of the two states.
