Kyiv, May 11 /Sinjska/ — Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Rustem Umerov discussed possible formats for leader-level negotiations to end the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict during a meeting in the USA with the special envoy of the American President Steve Whitkoff and then the White House Chief Jared Kushner. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported this on Monday in “Telegram.”

D. Umerov, in turn, noted that a meeting of leaders can become one of the key elements for activating negotiations, ending hostilities, and achieving a just and dignified peace.
