Beijing, May 9 /Xinhua/ — China and Thailand will conduct joint military exercises “Storm-2026” in Thailand in mid to late May, an official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the PRC, Zhan Bin, said at a press conference on Saturday.

According to him, within the framework of the event on the topic “Joint Counterterrorism Operations in Mountains and Jungles,” Chinese and Thai military personnel will form mixed teams to organize training exercises in areas such as providing assistance to those affected as a result of combat operations, operations with unmanned equipment, and live fire drills.
