Moscow, May 7 /TASS/ — Poland, like a number of other European countries, openly positions Russia as the main threat to itself, which the Russian side categorically rejects. This was stated on Thursday at a briefing by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
“We categorically reject this, we do not accept such an attitude towards our country and speak of retaliation,” the Kremlin representative emphasized.
“As for the process of militarization, which follows these statements, of course, it is expensive financially. The country’s population will have to shell out, because all this militarization will be carried out at the expense of the citizens, in this case at the expense of the citizens of Poland,” D. Peskov indicated.
According to Russian media reports, the former Polish Minister of Defense Vladislav Kosiniak-Kamysz stated that by 2030 Poland will have the strongest army in Europe.
