Siyangan, May 7 /Xinhua/ — The head of the administration of the Special Administrative Region (SAR) of Siyangan, Li Xiaochao, met on Wednesday with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, to exchange views on strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Emphasizing that SARSIAN and Uzbekistan are active participants in the “Belt and Road” initiative, Li Ziyao said that both sides have enormous opportunities for cooperation.

Syangan will continue to deepen international exchanges, develop markets of the countries participating in the “Belt and Road” initiative, and strengthen cooperation with Uzbekistan in various areas, he added.

He invited Uzbek enterprises to expand their presence in the SAR Xiang and to use the advantages of this region to develop the domestic markets of China’s regions and foreign markets.

Regarding the facilitation of cultural and humanitarian exchanges between the two sides, Li Ziyao noted that the administration of Sarsyang has created a target group for training in Sarsyang and launched the “Belt and Road” scholarship initiative for outstanding students from around the world.

He also expressed hope that even more young people from Uzbekistan would come to Sangan for further education and career growth.
