Madrid, May 6 /Xin Hua/ — All passengers and crew members on board the cruise ship MV Hondius, where an antavirus outbreak occurred, currently show no symptoms of illness. This was reported on Wednesday by the Spanish Minister of Health, Monica Garcia.
Speaking at the press conference, M. Garcia reported that three patients suspected of having the virus, including a judicial doctor / citizen of the United Kingdom, who was in a critical condition /, were sent to the Netherlands for treatment.
As the minister added, after the completion of the medical evacuation operation, the cruise-expedition ship under the management of the Netherlands docked at the port of Granadilla on the south of the island of Tenerife, not far from the airport.
M. Garcia stated that the Spanish authorities will launch the mechanism of medical evacuation and return of passengers to their countries upon the arrival of ships. –0–
