“Udmurtneft”, the main oil-producing enterprise in the territory of the Udmurt Republic, as a result of the implementation of the energy saving program in 2025, reduced electricity consumption by 36 million kWh. In monetary terms, the effect amounted to about 240 million rubles.
This result was achieved through the implementation of domestic energy-efficient technologies and equipment in the processes of extraction, preparation, and transportation of hydrocarbon raw materials, as well as injection of working agent into the reservoir. The results of the work carried out increased the energy efficiency of pump equipment operation and reduced energy costs, including by reducing the share of associated water in the produced output.
In 2025, at the Udmurtneft field, the use of high-efficiency centrifugal pumps, valve and submersible electric motors with increased voltage, as well as work on optimizing the cross-sections of the applied cable, continued. At the facilities for preparation and transportation of oil, maintaining reservoir pressure, the selection of optimal pumping equipment was carried out to increase its energy efficiency. Also, at the oil pumping facility, the installation of four control stations with frequency regulation of pump supply was carried out.
“Udmurtneft” also continues work to improve the reliability of power supply. In 2025, the “Elnikovo” substation with a capacity of 32 MVA and a voltage class of 35 kV was reconstructed. More powerful transformers with an online diagnostic system for technical condition were installed on it. The substation provides reliable power supply to existing facilities and growing volumes of drilling operations.
The energy management system of “Udmurtneft” successfully passed the recertification audit in 2025, confirming the system’s compliance with the requirements of GOST R ISO 50001-2023.
Improving the efficiency of operating production assets is one of the key elements of Rosneft’s strategy. The company conducts systematic work aimed at the rational use of energy resources and the reduction of energy consumption, optimizing electrical loads and thermal processes.
