Beijing, May 4 /Xin Hua/ — Chairman of the Central Military Commission Xi Jinping called to accelerate the search for missing persons and to apply all efforts to rescue those injured as a result of the explosion that occurred on Monday afternoon at a fireworks manufacturing plant in Hunan Province /Central China/.

Si Zhiping, who is also the General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, gave instructions to strengthen efforts to identify and eliminate risks and hidden dangers in key industries and areas, as well as to reinforce the management of public security, in order to ensure the safety of people’s lives and property.
