Before the start of the new season, the racing team LADA Sport ROSNEFT held a presentation of the updated main lineup of pilots.
In the 2026 season, Russia’s most titled racing team will participate in circuit racing and karting. Behind the wheel of the updated cars of the most powerful class SMP TCR Russia in the Russian Circuit Racing Series (RSKG) will be graduates of the LADA Sport ROSNEFT Junior karting school – the already experienced Ivan Chubarov and Artem Severin, for whom the season in the main class will be their debut.
At the start of the first stage of the Russian Championship, LADA Sport ROSNEFT pilots will bring out updated LADA Vesta TCR sports cars, which received a number of improvements during the off-season: a lighter and more efficient gearbox, an updated engine management program, and a completely redesigned suspension.
In 2026, with the support of “Rosneft”, the main academy LADA Sport ROSNEFT karting team will continue its work; this is a karting team consisting of seven pilots who compete for the prizes of the country’s Championship and Primary League. The LADA Sport ROSNEFT Junior karting team is the current national champion and has held this title for the fourth year in a row.
“Rosneft” has been the general sponsor of LADA Sport ROSNEFT since 2015. During this time, the team has achieved impressive results, winning 49 championship titles, including a victory in the “Silk Way Rally”, as well as in circuit racing, classic rally, and karting.
Thanks to this cooperation, the market received a range of innovative products: high-octane gasoline Pulsar-100 and sports racing oil Rosneft Magnum Racing. Since 2021, the LADA Sport ROSNEFT team has been using exactly this motor oil, which provides enhanced engine protection under the extreme conditions of competitions. Technologies tested on racing tracks are available to motorists – Pulsar fuel and Magnum Racing oil can be purchased at Rosneft gas stations.
The first stage of the Russian ring racing series will take place at the Moscow Raceway racing track near Moscow from May 15 to 17.
