Saint Petersburg, May 3 /Sinyua/ — The official tourist portal of Saint Petersburg, Visit Petersburg, has become available in China. This was reported on Sunday by TASS with reference to the General Director of the Petersburg City Tourist Information Bureau, Yan Makshin.
“Now Visit Petersburg can be opened from the territory of China. We have completely updated the information in Chinese, including the most important information for our guests, in particular about the main attractions of Petersburg and its suburbs, as well as about Russian and Chinese cuisine restaurants, now available on this portal,” said Ya. Makshina.
In 2025, Saint Petersburg was visited by about 300 thousand tourists from China. Under the current visa-free regime, the city expects a stable increase in the number of Chinese tourists.
