Moscow, May 2 /Xin Hua/ — As a result of a night fire in the village of Vysokiy in the Russian Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, a family of seven people died, including four children. This was reported on Saturday via the “Max” messenger by the governor of the region, Ruslan Kukaruk.
“At 01:58 a report was received about a fire in a private residential house in the settlement of Vysokiy. Upon arrival, firefighting and rescue units observed an open flame with the threat of spreading to neighboring buildings. The fire was localized at 03:06, and the open flame was extinguished at 03:30. A family of seven people died, including four children,” the governor reported.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was a violation of fire safety requirements during the operation of electrical appliances. –0–
