The main task of the Caucasus Investment Forum is to stimulate the development of the regions of the North Caucasian Federal District and to attract domestic and foreign investors.
The forum was held for the first time in May 2023 in Mineralnye Vody in the format of an investment exhibition and received a very positive response from the business community and representatives of executive authorities. In 2023, the Caucasian investment exhibition received the status of an annual forum (Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated September 18, 2023 No. 697 “On the Caucasian Investment Forum”).
The theme of the forum in 2026 is “Expanding the horizons of opportunities.” The business program of the forum includes more than 70 events. Special attention will be paid to the development of youth entrepreneurship, state support for SMEs, development and promotion of creative industries, tourism, agro-industrial complex, and ensuring human resource potential.
The main two days of the forum (April 29-30) will feature the following key events:
— plenary session on the topic “Transformation of the investment climate: designing the future in new realities”;
— “Dialogue with the Governor: Vector on the Caucasus” — investment sessions with the participation of heads of the North Caucasus Federal District subjects;
— meeting of the Chairman of the Government with members of the Government Commission on socio-economic development of the North Caucasian Federal District.
A special place in the business program in 2026 is dedicated to the youth agenda – it focuses on the development of youth entrepreneurship and SMEs (round tables, startup competitions, interactive laboratories). Two youth plenary sessions are planned: “Investments in Tomorrow: the Role of Development Institutions in the Modern Economy” and “BizQuiz: Territory of Ideas.”
In addition to the main business program events, a solemn ceremony will be held on the forum site to award the III All-Russian Investment Prize “Vershina” for contributions to the growth of the economy and the development of the investment potential of the regions of the Russian Federation (in 11 categories in the fields of innovation, healthcare, education, small and medium-sized business, tourism, and agriculture).
The exhibition program of the forum will reflect the entire diversity of the North Caucasus, its culture, traditions, and investment potential. Achievements and opportunities of the regions of the North Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) will be demonstrated, new business ideas will be presented, as well as current directions and strategies for the development of macro-regions. The forum site will host 11 regional stands showcasing breakthrough investment projects.
