At the State University of Management, with the support of the RWB company, the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in innovative entrepreneurship “Future of Business” has been completed. The project helps schoolchildren develop entrepreneurial thinking, work on real business tasks, and try themselves in technological entrepreneurship.
The final took place from April 17 to 19 on the GUU campus. The university created a practical environment for the participants, close to real entrepreneurial work: schoolchildren attended a master class on creating video resumes, recorded their own video portfolios, and then individually worked on a case from the company RWB and defended their solutions before experts.
“Our joint GUU Olympiad ‘Future of Business’ united ambitious and motivated schoolchildren for whom business is not an abstract theory, but a living practice that requires courage, flexibility of thinking and a readiness to learn from their own experience. We have seen that a generation is growing in the country that strives not just to dream, but to act — to try themselves in entrepreneurship, to seek solutions and to take responsibility for the results,” noted the director of the RWB Department of Education, Igor Koval.
According to the vice-rector of PSU Pavlovsky, the value of the olympiad lies precisely in the practical experience: “The ‘Future of Business’ olympiad gives the opportunity to try yourself in entrepreneurship in practice. There is no pre-built path here — participants look for solutions, make mistakes, try again. And it is precisely through this courage and readiness to act that the very entrepreneurial experience is formed, which eventually leads to success.”
The jury included representatives of business and educational organizations. Experts highly appreciated the preparation of the finalists, as well as their independence, the ability to argue decisions and present ideas in a format close to real business practice.
As a result of the competition, the winners were Yaroslav Lisenkov and Tatyana Andreeva from Yekaterinburg. The prizewinners of the Olympiad were Evelina Polynina from Ryazan, Svyatoslav Zheglov from Moscow, and Ekaterina Drugova from Novosibirsk.
The Olympiad became an opportunity for schoolchildren to test themselves in entrepreneurship in practice, work with real cases, and take the first steps towards their own business projects.
