The Chairman of the Government opened the federal educational marathon with the lecture “Opportunities for professional development in Russia. Find the path to success!”.

M. Mishustin:Good afternoon, dear friends! I am glad to speak again at the educational marathon organized by the Russian society “Znanie”. It gives a wonderful opportunity to share with you how young people can find their path to success in our country.
As the President noted, “Youth is the support of today and the future of Russia.”
I am convinced that it is precisely your talents and energy, diligence, and determination that are the key to the further successes of our country.
Many of you, guys, ask yourselves questions about how to find your place in life, an interesting job, which educational institution to choose, which professions will be promising. Today I want to try to tell you about what to focus on, what opportunities exist so that you can fully reveal your potential, get a good education and build your career. And, of course, achieve professional self-realization.
It is determined not only by the presence of a diploma or position, but primarily by the fact that a person is engaged in a favorite activity that evokes sincere interest in them, which they do well.
In second place, there is room for constant mastery development, skill improvement, and professionalism growth.
And thirdly, such work brings benefits – to the person himself, his family, friends, the entire society, and the country.
When the balance of these components is observed, a person derives satisfaction from work, from being a cool, recognized specialist, and their efforts are visible in concrete results.
How to become such a professional? Where to go to study and then work to be in demand, so that everything works out? How not to make a mistake when choosing a field of activity? Which direction is the winning one?
Many people probably ask themselves these questions. These are the most important questions for every young person who is just beginning their adult life journey.
There is no single correct answer. Just as there is no universal recipe for success.
We will create opportunities for you to unlock your potential in conditions where the world is continuously changing, where the labor market and entire sectors of the economy are undergoing transformation. And the main capital today becomes knowledge and the desire to constantly learn something new.
In the course of one of the lectures within the framework of an educational marathon, about five years ago, we talked with the guys about the fact that in our opinion, the Fourth Industrial Revolution is coming, it is connected, you know, with digitization, the development of artificial intelligence, and robotization.
During this time, digital platforms have become an integral part of many industries, helping to optimize and automate processes.
Large language models are being developed. Artificial intelligence-based services are appearing in all areas – from medicine to agriculture, from production to government administration. People increasingly use neural networks as assistants.
It is impossible to become a specialist in artificial intelligence, in large language models or complex automation systems without possessing what is obviously fundamental knowledge in areas such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
It is very important that, while engaging with fashionable specialties, you remain developed in fundamental sciences. You thoroughly studied the subject area and could move to the next level of understanding – artificial intelligence, digital platforms, automation of complex technological processes.
