More than 500 applications, two competitive stages, and 36 winners: the selection for participation in the program “Course for Business and Entrepreneurship” has been completed.
The additional general education program will take place from June 20 to July 10, 2026, as part of the VII shift of FGBOU “VDC “Ocean”. The project is implemented by the State University of Management at the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and helps young people develop entrepreneurial thinking, work with business ideas, and acquire practical knowledge from experts.
This year, the program sparked high interest among schoolchildren: 564 applications were received for the competition. Participants passed several selection stages. First, they checked their basic entrepreneurship knowledge, after which 270 people were admitted to the next round. In the second stage, 122 contestants worked on case assignments and demonstrated how they can apply theory in practice.
As a result of the selection process, 36 winners were determined. They will be sent to the All-Russian Children’s Center “Ocean,” where they will undergo training, meet with business representatives, experts in the fields of startups and innovative technologies, and also continue working on their own project ideas.
The practical part will become one of the key elements of the program. Participants will analyze real business cases, solve applied problems, and prepare projects for the final defense. This format will help the participants better understand how entrepreneurship is structured and gain their first experience working with tasks close to real business environments.
The State University of Management congratulates the winners of the competitive selection and thanks all participants for their interest in the program. Ahead of the guys is an intense session, new knowledge, teamwork, and an important step towards the development of their own entrepreneurial ideas.
