Pyongyang, April 27 /Xin Hua/ — The General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea /WPK/, Chairman of the State Affairs of the DPRK Kim Jong Un held separate meetings on Sunday with the Chairman of the State Duma of Russia Vyacheslav Volodin and the Minister of Defense Andrei Belousov, reports the Korean Central Telegraph Agency /KCTA/ on Monday.
Kim Chen In noted that the two countries fought shoulder to shoulder and achieved victory in a series of operations in the Kursk region of Russia, calling it a “historic event proving the power and firmness of the DPRK-Russia alliance,” the statement says.

In the course of the talks, the CIS and the EAEU confirmed their commitment to the all-round development of bilateral relations in accordance with the spirit of the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, the statement emphasizes.
