Washington, April 25 /Xinhua/ — According to a live broadcast on Saturday evening, U.S. President Donald Trump was evacuated from the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner after an incident, presumably related to security.
It was visible live on air how the participants of the event crouched behind tables and looked for shelter. A number of news agencies reported that shots were fired in the ballroom of the White House.
The organizers announced that the event will resume soon, but did not provide additional details.
