Beijing, April 25 /Xinhua/ — According to a report published on Saturday by the Xinhua Institute of State-Level under the Xinhua News Agency, cost and safety have become comparative advantages of China for attracting international students.
The report titled “Education in China: Contribution to Building a Community of a Shared Future for Mankind” notes that China’s competitive advantage as a global educational hub is becoming increasingly evident.
According to the report, currently, as the global status and academic quality of Chinese universities rise to leading positions in international rankings, and the expansion of Chinese enterprises’ activities abroad creates broad career opportunities for international students returning to their home country.
Moreover, the financial advantages of studying in China are quite significant: costs constitute less than a third of what is required in Europe or the USA. Combined with the fact that China is one of the most stable and secure countries in the world, as well as its commitment to creating a hospitable environment, these factors collectively significantly increase the global attractiveness and prestige of the brand “Studying in China,” the report says. -0-
