Tehran, April 24 /Xin Hua/ — Iran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport will resume international passenger flights from April 25. This was reported on Friday by the Iranian official news agency IRNA.
As reported by the director for public relations of the Imam Khomeini Airport in Asura Mohammadi, the first flights will be sent to the Turkish city of Istanbul, the capital of Oman Muscat, and the capital of China Beijing.
A. Mohammadi clarified that the first flight operated by the national carrier Iran Air is scheduled for 06:45 local time / 03:15 GMT to Istanbul. It will be followed by two more flights to the same destination operated by the airlines Iran Airtour and Mahan Air at 09:00 and 09:30, respectively.
The flight to Muscat of the airline Sepehran Airlines will depart at 11:00, and the Mahan Air flight to Beijing is scheduled for 06:50, he added.
According to A. Mohammadi, five airlines — Iran Air, Iran Airtour, Mahan Air, Sepehran Airlines, and ATA Airlines — have already received permission to sell tickets. –0–
