Moscow, April 22 /TASS/ — Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but such a meeting must be productive and take place at the stage of finalizing agreements. This was stated on Wednesday by the press secretary of the Russian leader, Dmitry Peskov.
“The main thing is the purpose of the meeting. Why meet? Putin says that he is ready to meet in Moscow at any time. The main thing is that there is a purpose, a reason for the meeting, and the main thing is that the meeting is productive, and it can only be so to finalize agreements,” D. Peskov noted in a comment to the information service “Vesti.”
At the same time, he added that Russia does not see political will from Ukraine to resolve the conflict.
