Technologies at the service of humanity: A representative of the State University of Management helped determine the winners of the startup intensive

The director of the Business Incubator of the State University of Management, Dmitry Rogov, became a member of the expert jury of the demo day of the startup intensive organized by MTUSI and the Moscow Government University.

The main goal of the program was to unite students of technical and humanitarian profiles to create minimally viable products (MVP).

For 6 weeks, participants worked in an interdisciplinary team and developed their ideas from hypothesis elaboration to preparation of the final pitch, while also attending workshops and lectures from leading experts from Innopolis, PJSC Gazprom Neft, Skolkovo, the Moscow Government, and other organizations.

In the final, which took place in the “Smart City” pavilion at VDNH, 14 teams presented their solutions.

The jury, together with the director of the GUU Business Incubator, included representatives of the Department of Information Technologies of the Moscow Government, the Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy of the city of Moscow, the University of the Moscow Government, and MTSI.

According to the results of the expert assessment, the best projects of the demo day were:

1st place – II ecosystem for startups “Pitchy”;
2nd place – unified platform for pet owners “Friend”;
3rd place – smart exam preparation system “Studium.”

The winning teams were awarded commemorative diplomas and gifts from the organizers, and most importantly – they received fast-tracks for internships at the Department of Information Technologies of the Moscow Government.
