The International Education, Practices and Vacancies Exhibition Balkan Edu Expo 2026 took place in the capital of Serbia. The Patrice Lumumba Russian University of Peoples’ Friendship (RUDN) participated in it as part of the delegation from the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
At a joint booth organized with the support of the Russian House in Belgrade, the university presented its educational programs and opportunities for foreign applicants. The RUDN delegation was represented by the head of the “Linguistics” department of the Institute of Foreign Languages Lyudmila Alekseevna Egorova and an international service employee Christian Baldi.
As part of the business program at the main open conference venue Hall 2C, a presentation of RUDN in foreign languages was held. Representatives of the university spoke about the university’s educational programs, its infrastructure uniting students from hundreds of countries around the world, as well as the admission rules for budget places within the framework of the Russian Federation’s government quotas. Special interest from visitors was aroused by academic exchange programs, living conditions in Moscow, and career growth prospects for RUDN’s foreign graduates.
Representatives of RUDN and the Russian House in Belgrade discussed the possibilities for joint presentations of the university, plans to hold open days and consultations for Serbian applicants, and work with Serbian schools to promote the study of the Russian language.
