On October 23, a hiking event took place in the town of Ciyu, Zhuji city county, Zhejiang province, as part of the golden autumn cultural tourism season, which attracted many tourists. Stalls with traditional local treats were set up on site — “Damian” noodles from Ciyu and rice flour delicacies called “Huaguo”. Local tradition bearers were invited to the event to demonstrate the cooking process and conduct educational workshops, so that tourists could taste the authentic flavors of Ciyu during the hike. The multifaceted combination of hiking, intangible cultural heritage, and gastronomy contributed to increased consumer activity and gave new momentum to the revival of rural areas.
