The laureates and diploma holders of the 12th All-Russian Prize “For Loyalty to Science” were awarded at a gala ceremony in the Digital Business Space in Moscow.
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko awarded the winner of the “Digital Content Author” nomination. It was Irina Dorogan, the author of the project “Adventure Horizon. Primorye,” which tells about the nature of the Far East and the study of rare animal species.
“At the ‘For Loyalty to Science’ awards, not only are grants given, but our wonderful scientists are also showered with ovations. It is no coincidence that President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin noted that this award enjoys such high recognition. There was intense competition in all categories. I must say that each of the nominees – both the winners and those who contended for victory – make a significant contribution to achieving our technological sovereignty. According to VCIOM research, the majority of our citizens – 92% – recognize the importance and share the necessity of technological leadership, to which our scientists have made a tremendous contribution. We are now overcoming the midpoint of the Decade of Science and Technology, which is being carried out in our country under the instructions of President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. Undoubtedly, this award is one of the diamonds in the crown of his significant events,” emphasized Dmitry Chernyshenko.
Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov presented the award in the category “Scientific Press Service of the Year.” The press service of the Russian Academy of Sciences won. The team popularizes fundamental science and the achievements of academic institutes: prepares special projects, helps scientists act as public experts, and adapts complex scientific content for a wide audience.
“The role of the press service is hard to overestimate. It performs an important task – establishing dialogue between representatives of the research field in a broad sense and society. And this is very hard work – explaining in a simple, accessible language what an academic institute or university does. It is especially important when such large intellectual corporations as the Russian Academy of Sciences or the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research convey the results of their work and share their plans not only with Russian colleagues but with the whole world,” said Valery Falkov.
President of the RAS Gennady Krasnikov congratulated the winner of the “Recognition” nomination – space researcher, Academician of the RAS, Scientific Director of the Space Research Institute of the RAS, Deputy Chairman of the RAS Council on Space Lev Zeleny.
The All-Russian Prize “For Loyalty to Science” was established in 2015 by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and is one of the key events of the Decade of Science and Technology declared by the President of Russia.
In 2026, winners were selected in 11 categories. In total, more than 2,000 applications were submitted for the award from all federal districts of Russia.
