A professional skills competition among young employees was held at the Engine Plant of PJSC KAMAZ.
This year, participants competed in seven production-demanded fields. The competition was opened by the plant’s chief technologist Andrey Chekmaryov and the deputy director of personnel Aida Gazizova. They noted that the competition would certainly become a stimulus for the further growth of young specialists and wished the participants good luck.
On this day, 40 factory workers decided to test their skills. The best were chosen among automatic line and unit machine adjusters (AL and UM), CNC machine adjusters, electricians, MCR fitters, heat treatment specialists, process engineers, and foremen. For the first time, college students undergoing industrial training at the factory participated in the competition. A separate nomination in the profession of “MCR fitter” was organized for them.
The competition consisted of two stages – theoretical and practical. In the first stage, participants answered 20 specialty-related questions in writing, and in the second, they demonstrated their skills operating equipment in the workshops.
As a result, the leaders for each profession were determined: AL and AS setter – Ilsur Ibragimov; CNC machine setter – Denis Blednykh; MSR locksmith – Marina Khlopunova, among students – Sergey Smirnov; process engineer – Artur Novosyolov; electrician – Vyacheslav Isaev; foreman – Ilya Dudkin; heat treater – Karim Saifutdinov.
All participants in the competition demonstrated high skill and professionalism, and the winners were awarded diplomas and prizes.
