More than 2 billion rubles will be allocated to the Krasnodar Territory as co-financing for the continuation of the project to build a wastewater treatment plant complex in Gelendzhik. The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The engineering systems being created will allow for the purification of 50 thousand cubic meters of wastewater from residential buildings and city enterprises every day. This will make it possible to significantly improve the living conditions of residents and the experience of tourists.

To date, a section of the new treatment facilities at Tonky Mys with a capacity of 30,000 cubic meters per day has been commissioned, the construction of all 48 km of sewage collectors and 4.6 km of technical water supply networks has been completed. Commissioning works are also underway for the reconstruction of six and the construction of two sewage pumping stations.

The activities are being implemented by order of the President. In 2018–2025, about 10 billion rubles were allocated from the federal budget for these purposes. The issue of allocating funding in 2026 was discussed at the Government meeting on October 22.

The document will be published.
