For those who run their business in the capital or plan to start one, a free remote course is now available “Crisis Management: Five Key Scenarios” for entrepreneurs. It was developed in Moscow Small Business State Institution (MSBI). In two weeks, participants will learn to identify risks in advance, adapt to changes more quickly, and make informed management decisions.

The course is dedicated to five areas that require special attention in complex situations: finance, reputation, management, legal issues, and external factors. Participants will work through a step-by-step scenario for each of them and learn how to recognize warning signs, build communication with the team and clients during periods of change, and reduce the likelihood of similar situations recurring.

The program is designed so that entrepreneurs without special training can complete it. It includes four modules: an introductory one (about crisis situations and their prevention), two main ones (about types of risks, a systematic approach to management, and developing a clear action plan), and a concluding one (with summaries). The course contains 12 video lessons with practical tasks that help immediately apply the knowledge.

The speakers analyze actions through real examples. For instance, one of the lessons in the introductory module includes a case study of Sergey Mironov, the founder of a large restaurant chain. In the video interview, the entrepreneur talks about how he went through difficult periods in business, what conclusions he drew, and what he changed.

At the end of the training, entrepreneurs will be able to systematically assess risks and develop crisis management plans taking into account the specifics of their business. Each participant will receive a certificate of course completion.

The remote format allows studying at a convenient time from anywhere. Participants can communicate in a closed chat to discuss cases, exchange experiences and contacts, and receive feedback.

The program complemented the comprehensive system of free remote training from MBM for novice and active entrepreneurs. In particular, one of the courses — “Own Business: A New Level” — helps to increase labor productivity through the implementation of lean technologies. There are also thematic courses with practical tools for growth: from automation using artificial intelligence to marketing strategy. All training is free and available at any time — you can choose the right one and enroll on MBM portal.
