On the platform “Active Citizen — for Children” new tasks have appeared for the project participants “Secrets of Personal Finance”. In October, young Muscovites are invited to participate in a themed survey and quiz to learn more about personal budget planning, income, and expenses.

Through the survey, children aged six to 14 learn why a financial plan is needed and how it helps achieve goals. In addition, participants will share what could inspire them to create such a plan.

An educational quiz with tasks for different age groups will also help to understand important issues. To complete it, children need to show their erudition and ingenuity, as some answers are encoded in puzzles.

The youngest participants, aged six and seven, will have to find out which items must be included in a financial plan and what can be classified as expenses.

Schoolchildren aged eight to ten learn how to avoid unplanned expenses in the store, what a safety cushion is, and why it’s important to adjust the financial plan.

Teenagers aged 11 to 14 are expected to tackle more challenging tasks. For example, they will need to determine which incomes are regular and which expenses are optional.

How to get a discount on souvenirs

Young Muscovites can participate in the new stage of the “Secrets of Personal Finance” campaign and receive a discount of 200 points on one of the available offers in the category “Souvenir Shelf” in the “Treasure Shop” section on the children’s version of the “Million Prizes” website.

For this, you need to go to project page, log in to the platform using an account on the mos.ru portal and complete all available tasks by October 31. These are five surveys, five quizzes for their age group, and 10 levels of the game ‘Path to a Dream.’ Those who previously participated in the first and second stages of the campaign need to complete only the new tasks—additionally, to complete one survey and one quiz.

You can use the discount within a month after the completion of the third stage of the promotion. Discounts received for participating in different stages of the “Secrets of Personal Finance” project promotion and other promotions do not accumulate. Detailed terms are available in the “Promotion Participation Rules” section. To open it, you need to click on the gift icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

Project “Secrets of Personal Finance”

Project “Secrets of Personal Finance” is implemented jointly with the capital Department of Finance. In an interactive format, it introduces children to the basics of financial literacy: teaching them to plan a personal budget, save money, and manage it rationally. On the themed page, children aged six to 14 have access to surveys, quizzes, video stories, and an educational game. Participation requires an account on the mos.ru portal or authorization on the platform «Moscow Electronic School“.

For participating in surveys, quizzes, and winning games, young residents of the capital with a standard account on the mos.ru portal are awarded children’s points in the city loyalty program “Million Prizes”. They can be used to obtain goods and services from partner organizations or directed to animal aid funds. The options for using points are presented on children’s version of the website “Million prizes” in the section “Treasure Shop”.

“Active Citizen — For Children” — is an online platform created specifically for Muscovites aged six to 14, who have an account on the mos.ru portal or platform “Moscow Electronic School”. Participants can make important decisions for the capital through polls. They also have exciting quizzes, games, and videos that introduce Moscow and tell about the city’s history, its development, and projects for children. The platform is being developed by GKU “New Management Technologies” and the capital’s Department of Information Technology.

The creation, development, and operation of e-government infrastructure, including the provision of mass socially significant services, as well as other services and offerings in electronic form, correspond to the objectives of the national project “Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State” and the regional project of the city of Moscow “Digital Public Administration.” You can learn more about Russia’s national projects and the capital’s contribution at special page.
