The fourth annual military-sports game “I am a Patriot” was held at the health and educational complex “Saulyk”, organized at the initiative of the Trade Union Committee of PJSC KAMAZ.

At the solemn opening, the chairman of the KAMAZ labor union, Ildar Shamilov, emphasized that the competition is not only a contest but also a test of character, a demonstration of high spirit and determination. The chairman of the Youth Council of the auto giant, Alexey Tarabukin, added that it is gratifying to see active youth ready to take action and win.

The game involved 11 youth teams from divisions and organizations of KAMAZ. The program included 13 stages: participants competed in running, grenade throwing, loading a magazine, disassembling and assembling a rifle. Teams answered questions about military ranks and insignia, provided first aid for head injuries, and evacuated a wounded person. Traditional challenges “Spider Web” and “Skinner” remained. Throwing shurikens (Japanese weapons) and axes, and completing an obstacle course on skis while wearing gas masks were new this year. A separate challenge was a scout contest testing attention and memory. Additionally, those interested could visit the airsoft zone organized by the “Polite Cats” team and an area where they wrote letters to the troops in the special military operation.

Based on the results of the entire military-sports game, the winners were determined. First place was taken by representatives of the Block of the Deputy General Director – Development Director. In second place were employees of the Foundry Plant, and the top three was completed by the team from the Spare Parts and Components Plant. The winners were awarded a cup, diplomas, and medals.
