On the “Active Citizen – For Children” platform, they summed up survey results, whose participants chose names for two kids born in the summer at the “City Farm” at VDNH. Young Muscovites aged six to fourteen shared their opinions.

Twins were born on August 1 to the goat Knopka. The male has a black and white coat, while the female is white with brown spots on her head. The babies have already grown stronger, gotten bigger, and are actively exploring their home.

Survey participants were offered five names to choose from. Among the options for the kid were Grom, Vikhr, Silach, and Ragnar, and for the little goat — Fifa, Kapi, Rozy, and Avgustina. The children could also suggest their own name choice.

According to the results of the mischievous kid’s survey, the children named him Shustrik. This option was supported by 38 percent of the participants. For his sister, the young Muscovites chose the name Mila, which received 29 percent of the votes.

Very soon, you will be able to see the grown-up little ones together with their parents — the goat Knopka and the goat Viking — in the barn at the “City Farm.” This is a family interactive park where city residents can take a break from the hustle and bustle and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of farm life. More than 200 animals live on its territory — from chickens and rabbits to cattle and deer. More than 340 chicks, 165 rabbits, 67 lambs, 62 Hillmnogorsk breed goslings, 58 ducklings, and 49 kids have been born here.

“Active Citizen — for Children” — is an online platform created specifically for young Muscovites aged six to 14 who have an account on the mos.ru portal or in “Moscow Electronic School”. Project participants can make important decisions for the capital through surveys. They can also enjoy quizzes, games, and videos that introduce the city and tell about its history, development, and projects for children.

The platform is being developed by the state public institution “New Management Technologies” and the capital’s Department of Information Technology.

The creation, development, and operation of e-government infrastructure, including the provision of mass socially significant services, as well as other services and offerings in electronic form, correspond to the objectives of the national project “Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State” and the regional project of the city of Moscow “Digital Government Management.” More about Russia’s national projects and the capital’s contribution can be found at special page.
