Nanjing, April 18 /Xinhua/ — On Saturday, the Eastern Command Zone of the People’s Liberation Army of China (PLA Eastern Theater Command) conducted a joint patrol to check the combat readiness of troops in the relevant waters and airspace of the East China Sea. This was announced by PLA Eastern Theater Command official spokesperson Xu Qianhua.
According to him, the aforementioned patrol is a planned event, organized in accordance with the annual plan and aimed at checking joint operational capabilities.
