“The 12th Eastern Economic Forum will be held from August 31 to September 3, 2027, in Vladivostok. During its operation, the forum has become a key mechanism for attracting investments, strengthening international cooperation, and developing solutions aimed at the socio-economic development of the Far East. Today, the macro-region plays an increasingly significant role in strengthening Russia’s economic ties with countries of the Asia-Pacific region. I am confident that EEF-2027 will help identify new areas of partnership, present promising projects, and provide an additional boost to the development of the Far East and the improvement of people’s quality of life,” said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of Russia and Executive Secretary of the EEF Organizing Committee.
A separate section of the forum’s program will be dedicated to discussing the implementation of the Strategy for Socio-Economic Development of the Far Eastern Federal District until 2030, with a forecast until 2036, approved following the XI Eastern Economic Forum.

It brings together representatives of the federal and regional authorities with business, leading experts, economists, and sociologists from our country and abroad discuss pressing issues, partnership relations are strengthened, large-scale investment agreements are signed, and work is launched at the largest industries in the Far East. The EEF has become one of the main tools for the development of the Far Eastern and northern regions. Preferential regimes, programs for the introduction and continuation of subsidized mortgages, the renovation of Far Eastern and Arctic cities, the grant of free land plots under the ‘Hectare’ program—all that was discussed and adopted here have helped and continue to help accelerate the socio-economic development of the Far East, and therefore of our entire country,” said Deputy Chairman of the Government – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum Yuri Trutnev.
The EEF has been held since 2015 according to the decree of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. The forum takes place in Vladivostok on the campus grounds of the Far Eastern Federal University. The organizer is the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Government of Russia.
