Mossovet Theatre presents a play “Eight Loving Women” based on the work of Robert Thomas “Eight Women.” This year marks the 60th anniversary of the premiere of the famous play at the Édouard VII Theatre in Paris. The detective story about how the ladies of three generations of one family and their household investigate the murder of the head of the family on Christmas Eve continues to captivate audiences around the world.
The play offers a fresh take on a popular story, familiar to many from François Ozon’s film “Eight Women.” It features a star-studded cast, a cascade of unexpected twists, and witty dialogues.
“Tender Heart” at the Oleg Tabakov Moscow Theater

Address: Chaplygin Street, building 1a, structure 1
The Moscow theater of Oleg Tabakov will stage a play “Tender Heart” based on the play by Vladimir Sollogub “Trouble from a Tender Heart.”
The main character is Alexander, a representative of the golden youth, spoiled by attention and confused about his own feelings. His father is tired of his son’s love escapades and wants to put an end to them. He takes Alexander to St. Petersburg to marry the daughter of his acquaintance. By chance, three girls find themselves in the house at once, ready to compete for the young man’s heart.
The classic vaudeville is filled with subtle humor, musical numbers, and comical scenes. The modern production preserves the spirit of the original, emphasizing the irony and dynamics of the plot.
“The Glass Menagerie” at the Moscow Youth Theatre
Dates: October 15 and 30 at 7:00 PM
Address: Mamonovsky Lane, building 8, structure 1
The Moscow Young Spectator Theatre presents a performance “Glass Menagerie” based on the eponymous autobiographical play by Tennessee Williams.
Viewers will see the story of a small family: Amanda’s mother — a master of social conversations who gets up with a smile in the morning, as well as her terribly shy daughter Laura, who adores her glass animals, and her son Tom, who smokes a pack a day, writes poetry, and runs away from home every evening.
Each member of this family has their own truth, their own pain, and their own love. And each one waits for something that never comes, yet for which it is still worth living.
“Animal Farm” at the Moscow Drama Theatre “Modern”
Dates: October 27, November 6 and 13 at 7:00 PM
Address: Spartakovskaya Square, building 9/1
