In honor of the upcoming 50th anniversary of PJSC NEFAZ, a subsidiary of KAMAZ in Bashkortostan, which will be celebrated in 2027, a ceremonial event was held on the factory grounds. The NEFAZ employees planted 50 pyramidal poplars along the administrative and laboratory building.

The event was attended by the CEO of PJSC “NEFAZ”, Boris Khaziev, the chairman of the trade union committee, Rozaliya Mulakhmetova, heads of departments, and trade union activists. “Today we are not just greening the territory – we are launching a series of anniversary events dedicated to the 50th anniversary of our automobile plant. Years from now, when we are enjoying our well-deserved retirement, we will see not just grown trees, but a living memory of what we created together,” noted Boris Khaziev.

Pyramidal poplars were chosen deliberately: their upward-reaching silhouettes symbolize growth, development, and the strength of the collective. These trees have tall, slender trunks and dense crowns with a silvery tint. They are undemanding to the climate and well suited for industrial areas. Under favorable conditions, pyramidal poplars can grow up to 40 meters tall, with a lifespan reaching 200 years.

Fifty poplars were planted in place of the old trees that were cut down in June due to increased fragility. Regular care has been organized for the new poplars: workers from the administrative and economic services department monitor the survival of the seedlings, providing watering and fertilization.
