The underground pedestrian crossing leads to residential buildings and social facilities on Yablochkova Street. Nearby are public transport stops.

Now city residents will have the opportunity to cross Dmitrovskoye Highway safely and under more comfortable conditions.

The pedestrian crossing was equipped with three staircases located on both sides of the highway and beyond the railway tracks. Three elevators were installed for residents with limited mobility.

The construction of the facility was carried out using a closed method, which made it possible to avoid interruptions in railway traffic.

“In recent years, we have been actively developing pedestrian infrastructure in Moscow, which helps the city’s residents safely cross major transport highways and railway tracks,” emphasized Sergey Sobyanin.

This aligns with the goals and initiatives of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. More about Russia’s national projects and the capital’s contribution can be found at special page.
