Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering and the Federal State Government Institution “Directorate for Construction and Operation of Rosgranitsa Facilities” (“Rosgranstroy”) have signed a cooperation agreement. The document is aimed at developing interaction in the fields of education and science, organizing practical training for students, and creating additional opportunities for their professional development and employment.
The agreement was signed by the Vice-Rector for Youth Policy of SPbGASU Elena Alexandrova, Head of the Educational Activities Department Oksana Shutova and the director of the Saint Petersburg branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Rosgranstroy” Vyacheslav Donatov.

One of the key areas of cooperation will be the organization of educational, industrial, and pre-graduation internships, as well as traineeships for university students. It is expected that students in the fields of “Technosphere Safety,” “Construction,” “Economics,” and “Jurisprudence” will be involved in this collaboration.
Within the framework of the agreement, specialists from Rosgranstroy will be able to participate in the educational process of SPbGASU, including conducting seminars and supervising students’ qualification works. Representatives of the organization will also propose relevant applied tasks for coursework and final projects, and participate in the development of topics for joint scientific research work.
The parties will pay special attention to the formation of a personnel reserve. The best students, including those who have completed internships at Rosgranstroi, will be eligible for employment in the organization. In addition, cooperation is envisaged within the framework of career guidance events, job fairs, professional competitions, lectures, and other events for young people.
Another area will be acquainting students with the facilities and working conditions of “Rosgranstroy.” For interested students, it is planned to organize excursions to the institution’s sites, including to familiarize them with the operation of border crossing points.
The Federal State Treasury Institution “Rosgranstroi” is engaged in organizing border, customs, and other types of control at checkpoints and places of crossing the state border of the Russian Federation. The institution participates in the development of state border facilities at all stages – from preliminary surveys and project documentation development to construction, reconstruction, technical equipment, and subsequent operation of facilities and engineering systems at checkpoints.
The agreement is designed for five years and creates a foundation for further expansion of cooperation between SPbGASU and Rosgranstroi in the educational, scientific, and professional fields.
Representatives of the Federal State Institution “Rosgranstroy” were given a tour of the university’s museum, where they learned about the history and main stages of development of one of the country’s leading architectural and construction universities.
