Moscow, April 16 /Xin Hua/ — One policeman died, and three others were injured in the Orenburg region of Russia during an operation to detain a criminal who was on the federal wanted list. This was reported by Russian media citing the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
“Upon seeing the police officer, the offender opened fire on him with a firearm. As a result, one police officer was killed, three were wounded, and they are receiving medical assistance,” the report states.
“The shooter has fled; operational search measures are being conducted to determine his whereabouts and detain him,” the press service clarified. –0–
