The First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov and Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak were presented with innovative technologies by Russian and international companies as part of the Moscow Startup Summit.
Nine companies from six regions of Russia presented solutions for medicine, industry, construction, logistics, tourism, education, and the safe application of artificial intelligence as part of the first investment demo day of the growing Russian brands competition “Know Ours.”
First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov noted that the participants of the demo day have already gone through a significant part of the entrepreneurial journey – from the idea to its practical implementation, attracting investments, and further development of projects.
“Such platforms, which ‘Sber’ organizes together with the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, provide a good benchmark for those who are just thinking about going through a certain stage of their journey. Having gained experience, replicate it, share it with those who are just trying or considering following you, walking your path,” said Denis Manturov.
All projects meet Russia’s national priorities – from technological sovereignty and data economy to modern infrastructure, affordable education, tourism, and healthcare. Following the event, experts announced investment proposals totaling 763 million rubles, invited companies to pilot projects, and offered other support measures. The results of the fourth season of the growing Russian brands competition “Znai Nashikh” will be summarized on October 7 in Moscow.
Speaking at the Moscow government and Sber’s youth technology startup Demo Day, Alexander Novak highlighted the importance of new projects and support for developments capable of shaping promising markets, creating high-productivity jobs, and increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of Russian companies.
“The projects presented on the platform are aimed at increasing economic efficiency, implementing modern robotic technologies, reducing costs, and boosting labor productivity – these are key tasks for our country today amid low unemployment and a shortage of personnel. The Russian Government is ready to support the projects presented today. Such work will enable the introduction of innovations and strengthen the state’s technological sovereignty. Our economy’s competitiveness and efficiency depend on this,” emphasized Alexander Novak.
