Today in Russia, the Day of the Educator and all Preschool Workers is celebrated. Under the jurisdiction of Department of Sports of the City of Moscow There are three kindergartens: on Udaltsova Street (buildings 40 and 87) and on Lobachevskogo Street (building 96, block 1). They are part of the education and sports center “Moscow-98”.

There are 74 specialists working in kindergartens: 43 educators and 19 assistants, three music directors, three physical education instructors, four speech therapists, and two educational psychologists. Nine employees have worked in the preschool department since its opening in 1998; during this time, the first dynasty of educators has appeared here. Four of them hold the title “Labor Veteran.”

Today, “Moscow-98” is a complex that includes three kindergartens, four educational buildings, a sports school, and a multifunctional physical culture and wellness center. Such infrastructure allows for continuous education, in which, as a child grows, they sequentially complete all levels of general education based at “Moscow-98.” Children attending the kindergartens of the complex are admitted to the first grade without competition or waiting. This allows families to avoid unnecessary stress when searching for a suitable educational institution, and the child to continue studying in a familiar, comfortable environment.

The preschool departments of the education and sports center “Moscow-98” accept children aged from 1.6 years to seven to eight years. A total of 22 full-day groups operate as part of the complex.

All kindergartens of the Moscow-98 Education and Sports Center have a sports focus. Great attention is paid here specifically to the physical development of toddlers. In addition to the three mandatory physical education classes per week included in the educational program, children can take advantage of additional paid sports services. These are held in the format of general physical training, which includes elements of rhythmic gymnastics, body ballet, martial arts, acrobatics, as well as chess, football, and swimming. The classes are conducted by coaches from the sports school. This lays an excellent foundation for continuing a sports career and also allows for the earliest possible identification of future talents.

In addition to physical activities, preschool departments pay great attention to cognitive development, social communication skills, speech, and artistic and aesthetic growth. Moreover, there are many additional educational programs available for the children, including art studio, theater and vocal club, English language, and LEGO construction.

To enroll a child in the kindergartens of the Moscow-98 Center for Education and Sports, parents or legal guardians need to go to the address: 40 Udaltsova Street on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 09:00 to 12:00. Parents should bring their passport and SNILS, as well as the child’s documents: birth certificate, SNILS, compulsory health insurance policy, and a certificate of the child’s registration at their place of residence in Moscow.
