Pskov, April 15 /Xin Hua/ — The Pskov region of Russia is interested in expanding cooperation with China. This was stated by the governor of the Pskov region, Mikhail Vedernikov, correspondent Xin Hua.
“I hope that relations will develop, we will exchange humanitarian missions, business missions, and certainly, as it always happens, find common points of contact,” he noted.
As the head of the region said, enterprises of the Pskov region are already cooperating with China. “Velikiye Luki Meat Processing Plant is one of the few enterprises that is accredited and has the official opportunity to supply meat products to the PRC,” he emphasized.
M. Vedernikov also noted the interest from Chinese partners in cooperation in the woodworking industry. “There is interest in our special economic zone ‘Moglino,'” the governor specified. –0–
