Islamabad, April 15 /Xinhua/ — A high-level Pakistani delegation headed to Iran on Wednesday to deliver key messages related to the ongoing diplomatic efforts of the USA and Iran. Islamabad is activating its role in facilitating dialogue between the two parties. This was announced by Xinhua correspondents quoting official sources.

According to reports citing Iranian state media, a Pakistani delegation led by the chief of staff of the Pakistan Special Forces, Asim Munir, has already arrived in Tehran.

Sources added that the Pakistani delegation included representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, security agencies, and technical experts, reflecting the multifaceted nature of the interaction.

The visit occurs against the backdrop of the resumption of diplomatic activity after negotiations previously held in Islamabad, and ongoing efforts to organize a possible next round of talks between Washington and Tehran. –0–
