In the Southern Administrative District (SAD) of the capital, courtyards, children’s and sports playgrounds, as well as other public spaces, have been improved. This was reported in his blog Sergey Sobyanin said.

“The south of Moscow is becoming even more comfortable for living and recreation. Step by step, we are creating a new quality of the urban environment in courtyards, parks, and at sites iconic to local residents,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

In 2025, the South Administrative District implemented five major improvement projects. New children’s and sports areas appeared in the courtyards on Sudostroitelnaya Street and Klenovy Boulevard. In addition, specialists restored the Izyutinsky Pond and the skate ramp on Chernomorsky Boulevard.

This year, an entire block within the boundaries of Sudostroitelnaya and Yakornaya streets, Nagatinskaya embankment, and Klenovy Boulevard has been transformed in the Nagatinsky Zaton district.

“In the large yard on Sudostroitelnaya Street (house 31, building 1), a ‘Ship’ — a multi-level themed play complex — has been installed for young Muscovites. Now the children can chart a route for a long voyage, explore unusual shapes, and learn many new things thanks to the developmental elements. The climbing area of unusual shapes, a tube slide, swings, a carousel, and scientific-play modules complete the zone,” said Sergey Sobyanin.

Playgrounds have been renovated at several addresses. For example, on Yakornaya Street (building 8, block 1), Sudostroitelnaya Street (buildings 21/11, 23 block 2, 25 block 2, 31 block 4, and 33), as well as on Klenovy Boulevard (building 7), modern play towns, wooden swings, carousels, and sandboxes were installed. New play complexes and six-seater carousels appeared on Sudostroitelnaya Street near building 31, block 4, and building 33.

A compact playground with a slide, swings, and a sandbox was also set up on Nagatinskaya Embankment near building 56, block 2.

In addition, at the main site of the neighborhood near building 31, block 1 on Sudostroitelnaya Street, the outdated hockey rink was replaced with a modern one. Nearby, a workout area with equipment under a canopy appeared. The site near building 25, block 2 on Sudostroitelnaya Street was equipped with a two-level monkey bar, a mini “Ready for Labor and Defense” complex, multi-level parallel bars, and exercise machines under a roof. At building 23, block 2 on the same street, new outdoor strength training machines were installed under a canopy.

Workout zones on Nagatinskaya Embankment near house 44, building 3, and on Klenovy Boulevard near house 7 have been equipped with bars and popular cardio and strength training machines such as the “Twister,” “Rowing Pull,” “Skiing Motion,” and “Chest Press.”

“The entire common courtyard area of the block was brought to a unified standard of comfort: the pedestrian pathways and roadway surfaces were replaced, and the lawn was completely renovated,” noted the Mayor of Moscow.
