Moscow industrialists not only actively increase production capacities and bring in-demand products to the market, but also allocate funds for social activities. They regularly provide assistance to children in orphanages, people with disabilities, as well as homeless animals. This was reported by the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Anatoly Garbuzov.

“Social work is one of the important areas of activity for Moscow’s industrialists. Enterprises and teams regularly participate in charitable events not only in the capital but also in the regions of Russia. For example, the Zelenograd Scientific and Technical Center funds sports events to help children from orphanages. Another Moscow optics manufacturer provides glasses free of charge across the country, and one of the leading chip developers has for several years supported centers that train guide dogs,” noted Anatoly Garbuzov.

The pharmaceutical holding company “Binnopharm Group” actively develops social responsibility programs. A central place in it is occupied by the annual grant competition “Give Good”. It allows employees to implement their own volunteer projects. This year, the initiatives of the winners were aimed at supporting social institutions in the Moscow region, Kaluga region, and Udmurtia.

The holding company provides targeted humanitarian aid on an ongoing basis. Ahead of the school year, a collection of stationery supplies for students is organized. For the residents of affected regions, kits are assembled that include food products, hygiene items, and other essential goods.

The scientific and technical center “Elins” from Zelenograd organized a bike ride in the summer along the route Zelenograd — Murmansk to raise funds for children left without parental care. The funds were directed to purchasing bicycles for the wards of social institutions in both cities. By the start of the school year, the enterprise provided four orphanages with sports equipment, educational materials, and stationery. Special attention was given to the hockey team of children with disabilities. They were given winter accessories and financed for participation in training camps.

The company “EyeCraft” from Moscow has produced a batch of corrective glasses for orphans and schoolchildren — both from Moscow and regional areas — for the new academic year. In addition, the optics manufacturer supplies products free of charge to hospices and veterans.

The Smart Systems plant supports cynological projects. It supplies microchipping syringes and smart medallions to the Assistance Dogs center and the guide dog training school of the All-Russian Society of the Blind.

The Moscow brand Lapa’s, which produces clothing for dogs, participates in charity. In particular, within the framework of the “Mospitomets” festival, the company donates part of the proceeds free of charge to shelters for homeless animals.

Moscow is the largest industrial and scientific-engineering center in Russia. Approximately 150 innovative productions are launched here annually. The city hosts 4,735 industrial enterprises with a total staff of 767,000 people. More than 20 effective support measures are available to manufacturers, including an interest compensation program for investment loans, tax benefits, and other tools.
