The capital summed up the results of the ninth season of the “Innovators Academy.” At the demo day, potential customers were presented with 10 finalist projects, including a portable cardiograph, a modern career guidance platform, and a digital assistant for veterinary clinics. This was reported by Natalya Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.
“Participants of the ninth cohort attracted almost 60 million rubles in investments and grants, conducted 76 pilot tests of their developments, and found their first customers. In total, since the beginning of the year, the program’s residents have signed contracts worth 437 million rubles — four times more than in the same period in 2025,” noted Natalya Sergunina.
The finalists of the accelerator included a team that created a service based on artificial intelligence (AI) to automate employee recruitment. It is capable of analyzing resumes according to specified criteria, conducting initial video interviews, and assessing applicants’ competencies. The creators believe that implementing this product will help reduce the time required to find specialists by five times, as well as reduce costs fourfold.
Another digital solution is aimed at schoolchildren’s career guidance. The user puts on virtual reality glasses and, as in a computer game, performs tasks at a workplace: in a laboratory, a factory, or an operating room. Meanwhile, the system analyzes their actions and conducts psychological tests. Based on the study results, it generates a list of suitable professions.
Another team presented an easy-to-use portable cardiograph. To obtain data on heart function, it is simply enough to apply it to oneself. The indicators are saved electronically. Following participation in the program, the developers launched the full production cycle of the device, completed its registration, and signed a contract with the first wholesale buyer.
Investors were also presented with an innovative material for monitoring and self-repairing pipelines in the oil and gas industry, a system for managing corporate AI modules, a digital assistant for veterinary clinics, an educational online platform, and other products.
Several projects that did not make it into the top 10 also received support during the acceleration phase. These include an AI platform for studying the languages of the peoples of Russia, smart glasses, digital services for automating long-term rentals, and processing the outcomes of business meetings.
Today, the ecosystem of the “Academy of Innovators” unites 46,500 people from more than 390 cities in Russia and 57 other countries. More than half of the participants are young people under the age of 35. The total amount of attracted investments and grants has exceeded 1.4 billion rubles. The teams have conducted more than 340 tests of their products.
