In the Filimonkovsky district, the construction of the monolithic frame of a kindergarten building for 350 places has been completed. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction. Vladimir Efimov.
“The construction readiness of the kindergarten for 350 places in a futuristic style is 30 percent. Due to the original architectural design, the facility will become a bright dominant feature of the residential quarter in the Filimonkovsky district. The builders have completed the most labor-intensive stage — the erection of the monolithic frame of the building. The total area of the structure will be 5.7 thousand square meters. Currently, work is underway on laying external and internal walls, landscaping the territory, and installing on-site engineering networks. The building is designed for 14 groups of children of different ages. Each group will have its own changing rooms, bedrooms, and buffet rooms,” said Vladimir Yefimov.
The preschool institution is being built at the address: Lapteva Street, land plot No. 4.
Monolithic works have started at the kindergarten in Filimonkovsky district
The three-story building will resemble a spaceship in shape. The combination of volumes of different scales will give it a dynamic silhouette, and the oval windows will support the overall concept. The facades will be adorned with graphic images of planets, artificial satellites, and child astronauts, rendered in a pencil drawing style.
Unusual solutions are also planned for the interiors. The room for developmental activities can be divided into zones using a transformable partition. A dance floor will be installed in the music room, and a sports flooring in the gym. Group rooms will be equipped with safe furniture with rounded edges. Decorative elements, lighting fixtures, and mirrors will be designed with a space theme.
The construction of the social facility at all stages is supervised by the Moscow City State Construction Supervision Committee (Mosgosstroynadzor).
“Inspectors of the State Construction Supervision Committee of the city of Moscow have already conducted the fifth on-site inspection and assessed the progress of the monolithic and facade works for compliance with the requirements of the project documentation,” added the chairman of Mosgosstroynadzor
The kindergarten will create conditions for children with disabilities. An elevator and necessary equipment will be installed in the building, and barrier-free access will be provided for all visitors.
Flower beds will be arranged on the territory, and trees and shrubs will be planted. Living hedges made of Physocarpus will divide the space into separate areas, allowing pupils from different groups to go outside for walks simultaneously. Children’s and sports grounds will be equipped here, as well as verandas that protect against sun and precipitation.
A kindergarten is being built in the city-park ‘Pervy Moskovsky’.
