Almost two thousand residents of the north-west of the capital signed contracts for new housing under renovation programs from June to August 2026. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.
“In the summer, nearly two thousand Muscovites from 31 old buildings received apartments in new buildings under the renovation program in the northwest of the capital. This is the highest figure compared to similar periods since the start of the program’s implementation in the district. For example, last summer the number of city residents who signed contracts for new housing in the North-Western Administrative District was about 40 percent less. More than 700 relocation participants each from June to August 2026 completed the paperwork to move to Mitino and Severnoye Tushino. About 500 more holders of comfortable housing appeared during this period in Yuzhnoye Tushino, Khoroshevo-Mnevniki, as well as Pokrovskoe-Streshnevo,” noted Vladimir Yefimov.
Muscovites participating in the renovation program received apartments from the city with improved finishes. They already have completed repairs, installed plumbing, as well as mounted sockets and lighting fixtures.
“From June to August, nearly 2,600 residents of 11 old buildings in Severnoye Tushino, Khoroshevo-Mnevniki, and Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo began resettling to new buildings. Of these, more than 1,600 city residents have already agreed to move, over 600 people have signed contracts for new real estate. In total, more than 1,300 participants in the program are currently in the process of document formalization in the district. Specialists are helping them with this.
