More than 3.4 billion rubles will be allocated in 2026 for the construction and reconstruction of the highway passing through Simferopol, Alushta, and Yalta (from km 155 to km 180). The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The transport highway will become an extension of the southeastern bypass of Sevastopol, connecting the federal highway “Tavrida” with the Southern Coast of Crimea.
The project is being implemented within the framework of the state program for the socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. Its updated version was approved by the Government in December 2025, extending the implementation period until 2030. According to the program, the length of motor roads in both regions will be increased, tens of kilometers of gas and water supply networks will be constructed, and major repairs of cultural institutions and cultural heritage sites will be carried out.
Speaking about the decision made at at the Government meeting on September 17, Mikhail Mishustin noted that the implementation of the project will increase the transport connectivity of the settlements of Crimea, and will give tourists the opportunity to choose more comfortable options for traveling around the peninsula.
