In the Southern Administrative District of the capital, the construction of a building to house a preschool institution for 350 places continues within the framework of the Targeted Investment Program. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Policy and Construction. Vladimir Efimov.
“The active development of social infrastructure continues in the capital. In the Danilovsky district, at the construction address: Likhacheva Avenue, building 10/1, a modern kindergarten building for 350 places is being erected using city budget funds. The area of the facility will be about 5,500 square meters. In accordance with modern standards, comfortable and safe spaces for children will be created here. Currently, the facility’s readiness is over 75 percent, monolithic works and roofing installation are fully completed, internal and external finishes are underway, as well as installation of engineering systems,” said Vladimir Efimov.
Special attention is paid to the architectural appearance of the building. Metal panels and concrete tiles are used for the facades, which will give the kindergarten a modern and memorable look.
“The interior space of the kindergarten is designed based on the principle of functional zoning, which will make the children’s stay comfortable and the staff’s work as convenient as possible. On the first floor, there will be a vestibule with a waiting area, group rooms, a music hall, a dining unit, and a medical office. On the second and third floors, there will be group rooms for children, spaces for corrective developmental and educational activities, as well as a gym. Upon completion of construction, the facility will be transferred to the management of the city’s education system,” added the head of Moscow’s Department of Civil Construction.
Modern eco-friendly materials resistant to wet cleaning and disinfection are used for interior finishing. Entrance areas and stairwells will be equipped with accessibility in mind for citizens with limited mobility.
